It dates from the the early days of Islam and is quite similar to what the Christian and Jewish Bibles and other religious literature say about banking. Islamic banking is a better system than the current "American" or greed-based banking system works. Islamic banking is based on morality not greed. Real Islamic banking is growing as a banking model in the US, the UK, and other western countries, because it offers protection to both parties of a transaction. What ever happened to those three Navy Seals who were being court marshalled for punshing that terrorist in the face? I haven't heard whether they were found innocent or guilty.
